Happy Anniversary

Another year has come and gone
In our journey through this life
And I look forward to many more
To share with you, my wife

I count my blessings every day
That I awaken next to you
I open my eyes and see the face
Of the angel that said “I do”

At times it seems like just yesterday
We started as husband and wife
at the same time it feels like you’ve always
been that special part of my life

I cherish all our years together
Since we said our wedding vows
And I relish all the days ahead
That the good Lord will allow

I hope he gives us many more years
So I can spend more time with you
I look forward to growing old together
