The Beauty I See

When ever I write
my poetry
Yours is the smile
that I always see

Yours is the touch
that I miss
Yours are the lips
I long to kiss

Yours is the laughter
that I hear
For yours was the spirit
that stilled my tears

You helped me heal
in many ways
That means more to me
than I can say

So please no matter
what we do
Don't ever think
I don't love you

You are a blessing
and will always be
That which gives beauty
to all that I see
