Short Love Poems

My Anniversary

by William A Predeau

The years go by so quickly
As we travel the roads of life
And I'm the luckiest man in the world
To have you for my wife

Many years have come and gone
Since we said those words "I Do"
I bless each day that comes and goes
To have spent those years with you

I may not always say the right things
A woman wants to hear
And as I'm getting older
I need a little help getting into gear

But know, I'll always love you
And hold you close my dear
I look forward to another Anniversary
and I'm grinning from year to year
