True Meaning of Christmas

Did you know that this season,
has an important reason?
Do you really know?
Hint, it's not about snow.

Mary conceived a child
Oh, he was so meek and mild.
Jesus was to be his name,
Then along Joseph came.

With a donkey at his side
he gave Mary a little ride.
They walked and walked
until Joseph knocked.

There was no room for him
within the confines of the inn.
But they were able
to stay in the stable.

Then born to you this day
in a manger filled with hay
Christ our Savior Arrived on the Earth.
Three Wise Men came to celebrate his birth.

The cattle are lowing,
the sheep the shepherds are towing
The sweet child wakes,
but little Lord Jesus no crying he makes.

This Christmas season,
remember the reason.
Our brother Jesus
is always near us.
