A Poems for Mothers
Its Mothers Day
by Llani Brophy
Oh who invented Mother's Day,
That day to spoil Mum.
The cup of coffee while in bed,
Half gone ..they spilt some.
The slice of toast and Vegimite
that took an hour to make,
and now the kitchens in a mess
and yes, they broke a plate!
Alas dear Mother never fear
Lay back and have a rest
Today the kids wait on you
Tomorrow you clean the mess!
